Grimsby Sewing & Knitting Launch our new Laura Ashley Range

Grimsby Sewing & Knitting have reopened their doors following an enormous re-fit. Once a single shop front, they now span 3 shop fronts on Freeman Street.
Melanie & Sylvi from Brother held an open day for customers to come and try the new Laura Ashley Sewing & Embroidery machines, and the new Innov-is 1e. Customers were excited to see the amazing features including Colour Shuffling, Bobbin Work Kit, Circular Sewing and 'My Custom Stitch'.


All three Laura Ashley models were on show - now with the addition of a Circular Attachment and Bobbin Work kit in the box.

They now have in-store the full range of Laura Ashley Sewing and Embroidery Machines from Brother.

Wimbledon Sewing Centre opens new department.

The Sewing and Craft Superstore in Wimbledon, celebrated in style for the opening of their new department.


After months of preparation and help from hardworking staff, the 1st floor was finally open and ready for trade. The ribbon was cut by one of the members of Four Poofs and a Piano from the Jonathan Ross Show, as clients and staff ascended to be merrily entertained by the four singers.


Boasting an exclusive range of fashion fabrics, bridal, soft furnishing and curtain fabrics, the new department sparkled with newness as people mingled and admired the layout and new stock.


Fully stocked with curtain tapes, hooks and other accessories, the curtain section has a range of fabrics, amongst them, fabrics by Chatsworth and Fyretts.



Also in stock, beautiful exclusive fashion fabrics and trimmings for special occasions and exquisite fabrics for bridal wear. All round, a department worth waiting for.
