West Bromwich Church Start HandyCraft Group
We recently received an email from a Church in the Midlands that has been using our Innov-is 750E and PE Design Plus software. St Michael and the Holy Angels in West Bromwich is a Grade II listed building in the town centre. The alter of St Michael and the Holy Angels The Parish Wardens have started a handycraft group in the Church Hall with the aim to make alter cloths and other church furnishings. The Wardens are encouraging the older members of the congregation to teach the younger members the arts of Knitting, Crochet and Needlework. Eventually some of the embroidered items will be sold at various Church fayres throughout the year, to raise money to redecorate the church. Shopping bags to be sold at fayres We think it really shows that a bit of embroidery can bring boring old shopping bags back to life!
