Lena's in Limerick, Ireland Holds a Special Open Day
Lena's Sewing & Knitting Centre in Limerick had an interesting week with our Product Specialist Gill Rogers. She was there for 3 days to demonstrate our range of sewing and embroidery machines. A quote in the local Limerick Post says: "Lena's Sewing is now one of the busiest shops in Limerick as the recession has brought people back to the basics of knitting and sewing. A lot of people are making things from home, setting up machines and running small businesses".
Lena's has been open for 17 years, and whilst other companies are closing their doors, her business is thriving. "I have excellent staff who are knowledgeable and competent in all aspects of our product line and business."
In the newspaper article Lena speaks of diversifying, increasing and improving their product range and service all the time. In stock they have the full range of Brother machines. They also stock knitting yarns and machines; whilst they also embroider many items like baby shawls and blankets as a special keep-sake item.
